Marie-Rose learned how to sew and to handle fabrics at an early age. Her father trained as a bespoke tailor at London's Savile Row and passed his skills onto both Marie-Rose and her brother who have each formed successful careers in various aspects of working with cloth.

She has been sewing professionally for over 10 years and is known by those who have worked with her to be meticulously neat in her work.

Having initially made curtains on a freelance basis for a high street retailer, Marie-Rose then went on to make curtains and blinds for another local business from which her work made it's way in to the homes of the rich and famous.

Since trading as Marie-Rose Curtains & Blinds, her high standard of service has now been made available direct to the public - at a competitive price. All Curtains, Roman Blinds and other soft furnishing accessories are made personally by Marie-Rose from her workshop in Eastbourne, East Sussex. In order to provide a truly complete service, Marie-Rose Curtains & Blinds has carefully sourced a quality manufacturer of non textile blinds such as Venetian, Roller and Verticals. Although you are welcome to provide your own, fabrics too can be supplied, with a huge range viewable on-line. An insured fitting service is also made available, with over 20 years experience to ensure your curtains and blinds are fitted with the care and attention they deserve.
